This week we made some progress with assembling the IKEA lamp, but let me first introduce our team:
This week we did several things.
First of all we programmed Baxter to pick flowers with the suction cup and handle it to you. The path of the arm is determined by coordinates. We can change the path by programming different waypoints. The other arm of baxter holds the lamp. By rotating the wrist we can easiliy put the flowers on the lamp.
We also changed the interface of Baxter. You can make every face you like!
In the interface we can select different options in a menu with the scroll button. A lot of programming skills was needed.
Last but not least we needed a flower container so Baxter can easily pick the flowers from the same place. The spring ensures us the flowers are always on the same level.
